Last October, we visited Corfu, Greece, for a fantastic week of holidays. One of the best things we did was snorkeling in Corfu’s clear waters, as suggested by our hotel.
We discovered Achilleon Diving Centre in Paleokastritsa online, known for great diving experiences. Paleokastritsa is famous for its beautiful beaches, so we were excited.
We arrived early for our diving course and relaxed at “La Grotta,” a local bar, with some cold drinks. The diving school was well-organized, offering two different diving spots with different kinds of fish.
The first spot was a rocky bay with hidden colorful fish a bit far from the shore. The second spot, closer to the shore, had calm waters and lots of fish.
Our instructor explained where to see different types of fish and places to avoid for safety. We felt well taken care of.
All the gear we needed was included at a good price. We had a lot of fun and saw many fish during our snorkeling trip. If you’re planning a trip to Corfu, we highly recommend trying this exciting activity to make your vacation special.
