The museum covers several millennia of human history from all over the world. From the ancient Assyrians, who decorated their temples with giant human-headed lion statues, to the Moai built by the Rapa Nui in the 13th century and the Holy Thorn Reliquary, which holds a spike that Jesus Christ wore during his crucifixion.
